Mülheim on the Ruhr, July 27, 2005. The innovative Mülheim-based company is expanding its market position in Russia. Metro Moscow placed a follow-up order for 260 emergency call and info pillars at the beginning of the month.

Since becoming more open toward the West, the safety standards in Russia are also being increasingly improved and brought in line with world standards. By expanding their network of emergency call and info pillars, Metro management would like to ensure that their safety policy, which is oriented towards the future, is put into practice - thanks to the innovative technology of ms Neumann.

First Partial Order Placed in the Fall of 2004

In the fall of last year, the Mülheim-based company was able to assert itself against international competitors, and win the contract to supply and install emergency call and info pillars in Moscow. The quality of the products and the expertise of the team were convincing arguments for Metro Moscow, which resulted in a new order being placed in July, 2005 for the delivery and installation of another 260 emergency call and info columns.

A Competent Team, On Site

Arno Bruhn, Managing Director of the Neumann Elektronik Osteuropa (NEO) subsidiary, said from his office in Mülheim: "The tireless effort of our highly qualified and highly motivated employees on site made this success possible. My management colleague, Yuri Prokopenko, who heads both of our offices in Moscow and Kiev, played an enormous role in serving our East-European customers just as quickly and competently as if they were located just outside the gates of Mülheim.
